Ok Peeps, this is it. After spending about four years in London, I thought it was time to tell what is the reality of an average good looking girl close to her 30th birthday.
I am not Brit so if there will be mistakes...and I have an accent, a french sexy one according to guys, a useless one when I try to get a job as a journalist in this country...but that is a different story.
It is not a blog that meant to be serious or professional or whatsoever. I just want to share stories that probably gonna make you laugh or cry
So...My name is V. and I live in South West London which is a great area to live. My neighborhood is so cool that even timeout london released interesting news about it: according to the magazine, south west london is a permanent student lifestyle place where one night stands and online dating are acceptable and shared values.
I live in this area as much as I live in London and I have to admit: that is my life...or part of it..
I arrived alone in stockwell, my English was crap and I was going out in central london, which is actually what makes you a bloody tourist. I arrived in a crazy student house full of spanish people, (which really helped me to improve my english) and I was going out continuously. For 6 months, my life was: studying, partying, shagging and boozing. I also removed place three times, lived with a crazy landlord, had weird flatmates and saw foxes in the street for the first time. I discovered what alternative night life really means and what was proper education. I was admiring people being constantly polite and constantly apologizing, even during the rush hours in a packed tube. It was good, it was fun.
I met people who are, I think, mates for life as retarded teenagers as I am. Lucas, Collie, Maria, Marianna, Kim, Chris, Kate and many others that you will discover later. But with five of them, we set up a permanent chat update on whatsapp. so, whatever happens, you will find out as a constant breaking news channel.
I was in a long-term relationship for three years with a French guy I met in a gay bar. He was 100% straight and lost, I wanted stability and be loved. It worked for a while but then ended nicely. I undertook an MA which I passed and started to work for a company after seeking desperately for a job, six months later.
Today, I am single but two stones less, jobless ( I was made redundant) and try to achieve my dreams.
And here is the beginning of the story...
